A better division of responsibility
Di Tran’s central proposal is a teacher who develops people, not simply delivers information. In this course, humanization means attentive teaching, meaningful work, respectful feedback, and learner agency. It does not mean withdrawing subject expertise. Students still need accurate knowledge, modeling, guided practice, and correction.
Use three responsibilities. The teacher selects the objective, teaches essential ideas, checks accuracy, and makes educational decisions. The learner attempts, questions, revises, and explains. AI may generate a draft, alternative example, or rehearsal question. Its fluent answer is a candidate for review, not a source of authority or evidence that learning happened.
Start with one recurring preparation task that is low-risk. Name a measurable benefit and a review cost. A tool that saves ten drafting minutes but takes twenty minutes to repair is not yet helping. Keep the task human-led when consent, accuracy, accessibility, or oversight is unresolved. No AI account is needed to complete this course: the worked examples and fictional drafts provide practice material.
