At Louisville Beauty Academy, prospective students may:

“Year-round” is not a promise that every person can begin instruction instantly or on the same day they first contact the school.

Nail Technology — 450 hours

A Kentucky licensing pathway focused on professional nail services, sanitation, safety, theory, and practical preparation.

Esthetics — 750 hours

A Kentucky licensing pathway focused on skin care, facial services, sanitation, safety, theory, and practical preparation.

Cosmetology — 1,500 hours

A broad Kentucky licensing pathway covering hair and related cosmetology curriculum, including required theory, practical work, and safety preparation.

Shampoo and Style Services — 300 hours

A focused Kentucky licensing pathway for shampoo and styling services. Current examination availability and next steps must be confirmed in writing before a student relies on a projected timeline.

Apprentice Instructor — 750 hours

An instructor-licensing pathway for applicants who satisfy the applicable prior-license and experience requirements. Eligibility must be reviewed individually.

Eyelash Extension Specialty-Permit Training — 16 hours at LBA

A short, in-person training pathway published by LBA for Kentucky eyelash-artistry permit preparation. The training certificate is not itself a Kentucky permit or professional license. A trainee must separately satisfy the Commonwealth’s current application, infection-control, education, identity, employment-location, and other requirements before practicing.

LBA also publishes an 80-hour brush-up course for qualifying remediation circumstances. It is support training, not a separate Kentucky occupational license.

Individual starts create individual completion dates

Traditional schools often organize public attention around one graduation season. Rolling enrollment creates a different rhythm: learners can begin at different times, attend different lawful schedules, and complete on different dates.
